LEISURE
Leisure means
free time or spare time. Leisure time is very important for enjoying hobbies.
People spend their leisure time by doing different activities. Such as watching
TV, playing games, gardening, drawing, painting, swimming, catching fish,
sewing, reading newspaper or story books, visiting friend and relatives. Some
people also gossiping in their free time. I am a student. I spend my leisure
time reading newspaper and story books. I also watch English cartoons on TV.
Our national flag
A national flag is the symbol of
our nation. Our national flag is rectangular is shape. Its size is at the ratio
of 10; 6. The ground of the flag is bottle- green in colour. A sun globe is in
the middle of it. The radius of the sun globe is one-fifth of the length of the
flag. The bottle-green colour stands for the ever lasting freshness, youth,
vigor and vitality of our nation. The sun globe signifies continuous and ever
lasting life of our nation. It is the pride of our country.
MY CLASS TEACHER

She teaches us English. He is young and smart. He never makes late to
come to his class. His method of teaching is ver easy and nice. He makes the
lessons very interesting. He wants us to be active. He tells us many stories
with moral teaching. He never fells tired. He behaves well with us. He takes good care of
us. He always helps us. He is our favourite teacher. We like him very much.
Global Warming/Greenhouse Effect
Global Warming means the growing
of temperature on earth. The world temperature is growing at an alarming rate day
after day. The growing of industry, the use of chlorofluoro carbons (CFCs) in
packaging and manufacturing commercial products, the use of detergents etc are to
grow the temperature on earth. Again the cutting and burning down of tropical
rain forests, the destruction of trees etc add the temperatures. Not only that
use of diesel and petrol also help to create global warming. It has disastrous
effects. It will reduce to grow food and damage wildlife. The global warming is
raise sea level and flood coastal areas and farmland. This global is great
threat to us. We have to became very careful. Otherwise, our existence will be
spoilt.
My country
The name of our country is Bangladesh. We
live in Bangladesh.
It became independent in 1971. Dhaka is its
capital. Bangladesh
is a small country. Its land area is 1, 47,570 square kilometers. But it has a
big population. About 140 million people live here. Bangladesh is mainly agricultural
country. Its main crops are rice, jute, sugar-cane and tea. Many kinds of
fruits also grow here. Jack-fruits, mangoes, bananas pine-apples guavas and
water-melons are the most common. There are many big rivers in our country. The
Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna and the Karnaphuli. We have many interesting
place. Many people visit these places every year. Bangladesh is a peaceful country.
We love my country very much. We are proud of my country.
A School Library
A library is a storehouse of knowledge. Library satisfies our eternal knowledge of
the unknown and the unseen. A library plays an important role in the realm of
knowledge. A library is a part and parcel of a school. No school is complete
without library. Our school has a big library. It is housed in two separate
two-storied building. The library has a good collection. There are many
almirahs. The books are arranged in different shelves according to the
subjects. The reading room and the office room of the librarian are separate.
The librarian has some assistants. There is a big reading room. The reading
room is well furnished. When we take the help of a catalogue, the assistants at
once find the book and help us. We are issued library cards. We can borrow
books after two weeks. In the reading room we can read as many as books as we
like. Silence is must here. Nobody is allowed to make noise. I am proud of my
school library.
My Class Room
A classroom is the place where
classes are held for teaching students. I am a student of class VII. I have an
own classroom. It is situated on the 2nd floor. It is a very nice
and large room. There are five windows and two doors in my class room. A big
black board is fixed to the wall. There are four fans and three tube lights in
my class room. Sun light and gentle breeze can easily enter in my class room. I
have “one chair for one” sitting system. My class room is suitable enough for
teaching. We keep the class room neat and clean.
My Father
My
father’s name is_______ .He is forty years old. He is high educated and comes
from a noble family. He is a doctor. He is a good person. He leads a very
simple life. He does not scold anyone. He is believed in Allah. He reads the
holy Quran daily. On holidays, he takes us somewhere to visit. Thank Allah that
He has blessed me with such a father. I love my father very much.
MY
MOTHER
My mother name is__. She is __
years old. She is an S.S.C. She is a house wife. She works at home. She cooks
our food. She looks after my family. She also takes care of our health and
studies. On holidays she cooks special dishes for us. She washes our clothes.
She keeps the house clean. Sometimes she goes to the market. She also visits
her relatives. In the evening, she watches TV. I love my mother very much.
MY SCHOOL
The name of our school is _.
It is in Bheramara town. The school has a large building. There are ten
rooms in our school. The rooms are use for the headmaster, teacher, classroom
and library. There are about five hundred students and ten teachers in our
school. There is a big play ground in our school. We play football, cricket and
many others game. The result of our school is always very good. Our school is
really an ideal school. I love my school very much.
